clear windscreen suggestions.....
I would like to add some type of flip-up windscreen to my boat. The potential problem is that it's a Formula that has a windshield already. Seems I'm just too tall to get down out of the wind and my eyes get blasted by the compressed air coming over the glass. Anyone use something like this and/or suggest a product that will mount to a windshield frame???

You may have to modify or custom build a clamp for them to work. You might also be able to come up with your own clamp, and have a piece of lexan cut here in Richmond to clamp into it.
This would also fix the problem:

Also a good thread:

Or just have Faith drive topless when the wind gets to be to much. You will spend most of your time looking right instead of forward.

Windaways work out of the box no mods on my 353. with the rounded top edge of the Taylor w/s frame you do loose some clamping area compared to a square top edge...so tighten 'em down good, and then tighten the thumbscrews again!
I've had great luck with them and can't live without 'em on all the time now (unless it's SUPER hot out), even while sitting down, as they eliminate alot of the "rollover" turbulance as well.
I haven't taken a pic of them specifically, but you can see them in this one.

Did that Sunday on the way back from Ocean Marine.....now my right eye has wind burn and my left eye is sore from being "poked out".

OK, has anyone used the "windaway" wind deflectors. My concern would be them laying back and flying off at 50-60 mph.
