lost my best friend last night
Monroe, my buddy passed away last night. I've never felt so much grief in my entire life. We travelled together for over a half a million miles. He didn't know if he was going for a gallon of milk or to Miami, he was always there for me. Some of you had the chance to meet him. Everyone loved Monroe. We snuck him into hotels all over the country and he wouldn't make a peep. He was extremly well behaved, I could take him anywhere. I just can't believe he's gone. I'll miss him for the rest of my life. Kurt.

Its truly remarkable how attached we get to our best friend ... I dread the day ... and it will be soon .... that my 13 year old lab will be gone ...

Sorry for your loss. We really do get attached them.
Both of mine are usually curled up on the floor with me while I'm on OSO (as they are right now). Can't imagine it without them.
Looks like he was a great dog. You were lucky to have him.

All your friends up in Maine are there for ya buddy. We know you are kind of private on stuff like this so we will stay out distance but if ya need us we are all there for ya buddy. I know you said Paul was going to be up tonight so that is good. I will be up tomarrow and I know Garry is around as well. Garry told me yesterday I can not believe how much it is effecting even me. That dog was a part of you and all of us, he was everyones friend. RIP Dog boy.
