I'm just glad it's in Pt. Pleasant again, and not down in Ortley. I like to watch the boats come out of the inlet, like a lot of other people. It's an awful lot easier to walk down the boardwalk after that to see the race then it is to drive to Ortley.
With the traffic last year, by the time I got to the Surf club, the race was basically over.

This is history in the making. This is the first time in 35 + years that the Coast Guard gave us a weekend permit between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

That was Fast Eddie on the throttles and Myself driving for him that weekend. Was a great race the last time I raced there as it has always been. This year is looking to be even better. Let's hope that the Big Boyz get the NUTS to come run in some JERESY water!!!!!!!!!1
