I just bought a 92 Outlaw, and went through my local credit union. Got a great rate, and went very smooth. I would try checking in to that if you have a local credit union you belong to.

If you go with a longer term to keep payments down, you can always pay xtra$, and that will go directly to the principle. You will have a higher rate because of the age of the collateral and the smallish borrowed amount.

I sold an 84 for roughly 28 000$ US on 15 years it was financed with a regular bank... at 8.25%

Thanks for all the info. sounds like I need to do a little more homework, payoff could be a much better interest rate.
