Re: Lake Champlain

Finally some decent weather!

I'l be around... I'l call you tonight Neil. Seems everybody I talked to will touch the water over the weekend. Paul (38 Scarab) will probably join Hus. He was planing on staying overnight in Burton Island (State park).

With the south winds forecast, it would be possible to stay overnight at Thayer's beach.

Everyone feel free to join Hus for the official late opening :drink:

Re: Lake Champlain

Here is my plan for now :

Friday PM, riding in Plattsburgh / Deep bay area

Friday night, Paul (38 Scarab) will join Huss at Valcourt Island.
We'l spend the night at Valcourt...

Saturday, Riding ??? Wherever We'l wish... Thayer's beach would be a good option considering the south winds.

Saturday night, planing on staying at Burton Island Marina for the night.

GLH? Waterheater?

Cowsil, will you be around tomorrow PM?

Re: Lake Champlain

Valcour later in the day might work for us to go by. JS, I imagine your taking about the Bay in the North West of the Island?

I doubt we will spend the night out, but might hang around for a couple hours till around 9PM.

More than likely I will try to hook up at Breakwaters earlier in the day.

Doc said he was going to be out of the office around 11AM so he will be out also.

Saturday at Thayer Beach also sounds like a good plan, with winds from the South... Altough last night it was from the North something fierce...

BTW Happy Birthday Jaimie/Drippinwet!

Oh we were out there, bright and early and it was still hotter than hell. I can't imagine how hot it was later in the day. I REALLY would've been needing the sunscreen if we had been out there any longer.

Absolutely unbelievable, story book weekend.

Only dissapointment is the number of people I listened to
b!tch there head off about the rainy, sh!tty weather and when a perfect weekend comes along pull out every "bulls!hit" excuse in the book why they aren't out. I even heard one guy say he wasn't coming out today because of the sunburn he recieved the two hours, between 11:00 AM and 1:00PM, he was out on the boat yesterday... :evilb: :evilb:

And no Waterheater, I'm not talking about you. :evilb: :D :D

I truly wish I had every weeked free so I could take some for granted... :D :D :evilb:

If I might make a sugestion Jamie, Instead of fixing a bravo drive every season like me. You can pick up a brand new XR upper W/warantee for under $4000 here. Bravo XR upper I had mine shipped directly to VT marine when I bought mine. was well worth the $$ in the long run. :drink:
