We had a place on a bay and I was turning the boat around sharply at speed and had the side down deep.Coming back at the dock the whole time...straightened out and the motor just lost power gradually and then she started taking on water fast....Looking at the dock the whole time I hold on as she goes down to see how far...I eventually let go as it just kept going and going..I swam to the dock as everyone was watching and boo-hooing and such and I just laughed...They looked puzzled...I walked away said.."no big deal..full insurance..where's a phone?"...Went inside our place and changed clothes..went back outside to the edge of the bay and she had washed over to the side...Funny how I could pick the side up to see what was wrong underneath..part of the drive was missing...I laughed and let her go....Went back inside the house and got my phone and went a bar to meet up with everyone else..still laughing..(end of story).......WTF?...Have I actually lost my mind?..I was working on the trailer all day yesterday and had a bungy cord smack me in the eye...brilliant little things.
