Food
The band
the video and picture production

I'm sure I'm leaving things out but really, I know other runs have the same things involved but think about where this is happening. It's not the cheapest place in the world.
My thoughts exactly Dave

Very true.... Besides if everyone paid early they got a 15% discount so the price was not much more than last year. For me it worked out to be $75 more but gas prices have doubled.

There is another run in area that is $750 (not in the NYC area), plus slip rental, $200+ for the hotel room, two tanks of fuel etc. The fuel bill would be $1500 alone...

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Dave,

It was a pleasure meeting you, thanks for the use of your beautiful boat!

The board seems to be more about complaining and passing judgement lately. Because of this we've turned the spotlight onto ourselves. People on the outside are looking in and putting the brakes on events like poker runs.

It's a shame....

Yeah, I'd rather pick on Pumpkins too.. You were really far behind us on Friday and we didn't see ya on Saturday at all! Felt bad at one point, almost stopped to wait for ya.

I told my better half that the throttles were hers this weekend. The boat only went as fast as she wanted it to. This weekend was her's and she had a great time.
