Horrible business decision.

I would do the same as you... vote with my feet and never come back.

This weekend was not one to go down in the good Poker Run book at all.
I think it was because of what happen at the Tickfaw 200?

Low turn out
No interest? I think next year I will go to Destin.

I hate sh1t like that. One time last year we stopped at a restaraunt on the Connecticut River Called Harbor Park. It's a restaraunt on the top and a bar on the bottom. After dropping a couple hundred upstairs on food we went to go downstairs and have a couple drinks at the bar. They wanted to charge us a cover charge to get into the bar. Needless to say I had some unkind words to say and wanted to talk to the manager or owner...The d!ck head bouncer all juiced up on roids then wanted to give some justification to his small d!ck by physically brining me back to the boat and grabbed my shirt. That didn't go over well either. Long story short the cops came and an hour later we left the bar...I haven't been back since. It amazes me the people that these places put in charge to take care of customers.

I wouldn't spend money there again either. That is absolutely no way to treat a customer.

This comment is probably true, but pointless. They are there at the bar on their own freewill.

I didn't see his comment as pointless... I saw it as the background reason that they should get out of the business.

When the proprietor begins to see paying customers as a nuisance... regardless of the reason.... it's the beginning of the end.

Just goes to show different people can have different experiences. I've been going to Blind River bar since before I could drive a car and have never been treated anything but great. No excuse to ever treat a customer bad but the only reason I can think of for her not letting you leave the trash is that all their trash has to be brought out by boat. Maybe its a blanket policy because if everyone started adding to the trash it would get unmanagable? Not defending her, just throwing out a guess. Hate to hear about people coming down to my area and having a bad time.
