42' Chief First Mohican...Update!
 

Thought I'd give everyone an update to follow up on what became a very ugly thread.

Cooler heads have prevailed and Bobby and I have been working to address all the issues on the boat.

1. The boat went back to Mitcher T and he addressed everything cosmetically in the paint making it look better than new as well as painted the flame arrestors for me. Thanks Mitch for getting that done so quickly!

2. The cockpit interior is in progress but looks pretty damn good right now. I believe that will all be finished this week.

3. Kill switches have been installed!

4. The trailer is getting a serious overhall and will be in new condition when returned.

5. Drives will be polished this week.

There are other things in progress to make this boat 110%

I'd like to thank Mitch, Nykamp, Ben and Bobby for working so quickly to help resolve the situation so I could go boating before they deport me overseas to work in London.

Was able to get out on it this weekend and it ran fantastic!

Glad to hear things are working out. We should be on the water having fun not sitting on the dock pissed off. Its a beautiful boat I'd rather here the good times your havin. :D

Saw it on the water this past weekend! Boat looked sweet especially when the sun was shining on it! Nykamp u do unbelievable work brother!!

Actually have a helmet cam that I'm going to try and get setup for this weekend. I am, however, taking applications for hot boat btchs and I'll make "her" in charge of one camera and not let her know where the other cameras are.

mike we will be out there rented a condo for the weekend. not going to run sorry to say. my wife was a bunch of family coming in over that weekend. nice timing!

The first thread is gone now.

I ask because it says a lot for what was said on the last thread. It tells us if the representatives of Cheif are truethfull people. If there is not answer to that question then I can read between the lines.... :drink:

I am very happy to see that they are fixing the boat and I hope that in the end the new owner is 100% happy with what he has waited so long to get. I alway say that people will not mind the waite so much as long as you deliver what they pay for or even toss in a few extra's along the way.

The rear saddle tanks are 80 gallons a piece. There are 2 more tanks for I believe a total of 380 gallons.

Hopefully one day I will be able to make that call. It looks like I will continue to enjoy what I have for the next couple years unless I win the lottery (I'll have to start playing).
