I need to rebuild ..so if anybody needs a sweet set of factory 525's (177's) complete 1050 Dominators intakes aresstors pulleys belts ect...let me know ..I hate to lose them but I need to......let me know...Dave

The blowers are 2001...serviced every year..I am rebuilding the engines...selling just the blowers..complete :cool: they are in excellent..shpe..

The 525SC blowers are way too small for 540ci engines. They'll fit, but they are too small.

Yes, too small. Carb size really has nothing to do with it. Besides that, a 1050 is stock on a 525sc which is 454ci. You would have spin the 177 at its max rpm--about 13000, just to make maybe 5lbs of boost on a 540ci engine. Spinning it that fast creates a ton of heat, reduces the density of the intake charge and can cause detonation.

The blowers would work great for small blocks. Probably too much carb.
