Mr. Fountain, Thanks for all of the publicity! I wasn't aware that I was going to a poker run to out run you, Hell I didn't even know you were going to come! It just happened that way, I came with the motors turned down to pump gas and brought 3 passengers. Although the competitive side of me kicked in when we went around your boat twice, I see by your video you neglected to show that.

Is there anyway that I could get the raw footage so that I can edit the real version? I see by your video that you are using Final Cut Pro by Apple. I have the same program, Like I said if you could send me ALL of the video I'll make you look good, I Promise!

Anyway, The best thing to do "once and for all" so there are no problems with safety or insurance for people to complain about, is THE LAKE OF THE OZARKS SHOOT OUT! It's for charity and is a real fun and safe event.

This way there will be plenty of your customers there to see you and your boat run.

I understand if you don't show. I wouldn't want to feel like a whipped dog either after this cat puts you down.

Feel free to let me know if you can make it, we have plenty of room at the house for you and your boat to stay.

The gauntlet has been thrown down! :eek: I just asked that question in the "Cat Killer" video thread, about whether or not Fountain edited out certain sections of PR video. :rolleyes: Kinda sounds like they did now, according to SR! :evilb:

Of course everyone will play second fiddle to the Callan C50 @ LOTO, including Reggie! :eek: Hopefully David Scott will have his turbine MTI there to give Dave Callan a run for his money! :eek:

I too, enjoy watching DS and JT run, they have a great team and some of the best equipment, and have accomplished things in power boating that nobody has done.
I just hope they can bring the Turbine MTI. I really would like to see that boat run against the DEFENDING 2005 LOTO TOP GUN! :D

Broadcast live on local cable at the lake and if you can't be at the event there is a live stream of audio available on 1150 KRMS website.

Sure, I wouldn't want to be one sided, It's a great event for all types of boats. Closed course, safety equipment, and plenty of spectators to see a good old fashion Butt Whoopin!

I dunno Speed, some lawyers might be cheaper and safer. Besides, your lawyers can always ask for royalty rights and a commission on all Fountain boats sold, since you are being used to help Reggie sell fountains. Just think, you might be able to get RF to finance the running of your boat, then beat the socks off him. <gg>

WHY post this excuse?

That's like saying "I would have won the race "if" my drive did'nt break". Doesn't matter. The winner wins the race. RIGHT?

Really guys, do you seriosly think anyone in the market
for MTI's Skaters and the like will be swayed to buy a
Fountain because of this ? Only a handful of people
are in that class and I think they know what they want
to purchase. ;)

I would look at it this way, the big HP motors make a ton of HP, speed racer toned it down to just have a fun run, didnt feel like having the truckload of 110 or better. so he didnt know that he was going to be in a race. Every engine builder on here will talk about what an engine does with different pullies or on race fuel..Wasn't an excuse to me. Sounds to me where he is saying ok, if you want to race I'll come with my race gear. Cant wait to see the results:)
