I'd like to see Speed Racer head up to the 1000 islands run (biggest, baddest run in North America,) Weve got some boats that will be there that he will have to take the title from. Xtreme Xhibit is one, and of course the famed My Way (native to the islands has yet to have her title taken!, and probably wouldn't by Speed Racer either.)
Best of all, the following day after the poker run there is the radar testing to find out who rules the international H20.
I suggest to anyone who hasn't made it to this event, to give it a shot. Really awesome stuff up there and beautiful boating as well!!

this is silly, why so much hype over speed racer, cms 39 mti runs 136 with 525's, little g's boat fully a pleasure mti runs 164mph with 1075's, crc ran over 165mph with 750hp supercat motors, speed racers boat will bust 185 when running his 1530 sterlings,maybe more, dave scotts new mti will be pushing 200+mph name any other manufacturer to run these speeds with this power, does'nt exist mti's race or pleasure just are'nt going to be beat in an equal race environment. no v or other cat with equal power will outrun an mti period,you dont see Randy or Dave on here talking non sense they know who is fastest, just look at race results.I believe the shootout this year will finally put an end to this conflict... my 2 cents. let it be!!!!!!

I have 25k that says my little 368 with factory sealed 525's can beat any top speed by any existing MTI with the same. (especially CMS) Providing the boat fits SCL class and the motors are factory sealed by MERCURY only and checked by MERCURY
