Too busy working. I put in 12 hours yesterday, got home at 11 pm, Deb put in 12 hours in Jax and got home about 9 pm. I just got back from checking on a job that's going on in Apopka a few minutes ago.

Dang Nort! that's alot! This is about as close as I've gotten to a F430. I know my tall azz will fit in a 360 so now I want one. If this boat stuff like gas, insurance and so forth keeps getting out of hand I might have to change hobby's!

I am around just way to bussy to post much. In fact I am taking a break between work now. If I am lucky I will be done at 2 am or so... :rolleyes: :rolleyes: Add to that working on rebuilding my house in Mass and building a new place in Maine, then a kid on the way!!! :eek: :eek:

Nice timberframe. Can I ask, who did the frame, are you happy with them? Pricing? Are they doing the SIP's or are you? ANy unexpected costs like crane or freight or onsight crew? I am looking to build a timberframe as my primary residence on a big parcel I just purchased. Any insight would be helpful.

Bret Thanks for the compliment. The timber frame was done by Rockport Poast and Beam in Rockport, ME. I would HIGHLY recommend them. We had some issues that was more due to my designer (cord from the board) being in the middle of the country and what not. It was also Tim's (cord) and my first go around with post and beam. However, the fit and finish of their work is second to none and their price was extreamly competitive. There was not a single cent of additional cost added on to the kit excpet for a large work order change that I made as far as their scope of work. They bring their own crane on site. The SIP crew was from NH and was so fast that they did this house in like two days. They also did quality work. Even sent a guy back after we got about a foot of snow and sent him up on the roof. I said that it was nuts and that I did not want him up there but he went up anyhow. If you want contact info I can put you in touch with the people that I worked with. They do travel. My wife works with a guy that owns a Douglas Fir farm in Seatle and he said that the quaility of the wood was top notch also.
