Best Wishes to Todd Lahey
The message below is from the Caring Bridge journal for today, We are all praying for Todd as he undergoes his transplant tomorrow!
"We hope that everyone had a great weekend. We had a blood test today and then an appointment with the nurse. Todd's platelets were low, so he got his first platelet transfusion today. Everything went fine. They just hooked up the bag of platelets to his line and it took about one and half hours. Not bad at all. Todd just has one more dose of the Busulfan (his chemo) and we need to be at the hospital at 8:00 tomorrow morning. We are anxious and nervous, but ready! It was 90 today, pretty hot in our apartment, it should cool down by the end of the week!! Thanks again for all the love and support! Have a great Monday! "
