HOWEVER - If I was starting a race team. Rio Roses would do nicely.
Rio Roses would do very nicely as long as Speed Racer does'nt show up ready to race or any other Cats of that status. Never enter a gun fight with a knife. Speed Racer!

I too would be pissed, At Reggie. Maybe he's not the master of PR after all ???

Reggie and Fountain powerboats are going to do over $80,000,000.00 in total sales to it's dealer network this year........thats at dealer cost pricing, not retail..........and you think the stock holders are pissed.....right.

My point being...I can guarantee you this...The little SR/RR publicity stunt did nothing but lower the opinion of Fountain by the very large majority (and raise opinion of MTI. I'm sure Randy Sism is the one that is sitting back laughing!!). I would say Reggies attempt at more sales through this action failed miserably and did nothing but lower his and his companies credibility. Keep up this kind of PR campaign and that 80 mil will drop.

I'll take either one - both beautiful and crazy fast.

Don't see any fallout from all this. Reggie has been pulling these stunts and ruffling feathers for years. Its good to see a CEO out in the field shaking things up.. need more of them out there. As long as things stay safe all the banter is healthy for the sport. People read way too much into it all....he uses his big ego to rope in others with big ego's - subliminal bonding thing Performance boats are a very small part of the market... so the competition is tough and the bark is loud.

If anyone is laughing it's probably D'Amiballe at Sterling Performance.
