2,400 lbs and twin 1,000 hp engines. So the boat will have 2.4 lbs per hp??

If that could be true, it would be the fastest of its size ever built.

Then again, the power in the boat itself would weigh more than the 2,400 lbs you have stated.

I think you are way off base with these post.

boat is 2400lbs without power per Doug himself, 2 sterndrives range from 900-1200pounds each in bravo configuration, the 2 boats with big power 1 with 1,000's and the other with 1100's will weigh in totally rigged at close to 5500lbs with merc 6's . I thought everyone surely understood that was the boat weigh only at 2,400 pounds, still with 2000-2200hp you guys do the math. I still believe your thinking is correct. go easy on Sean , the man is boatless.wiggler

Now that’s funny coming from a guy with a waste the size of the Hindenburg. Try looking in the mirror sometime Dough Boy. By the way, Victoria Secret called and said your new custom sized extra huge girdle is in. Go put the box of Twinkies down, suck it in and get back on Carson’s nuts.

With 1000 hp the owner should not use a Bravo outdrive so the Speedmaster drive units and engines will weigh more than your estimates.

A set of Super Cat engines and SSM#6 with rigging have a weight of #4500 lbs.

So a 1,000 hp blower motor weighs more, but none the less, the boat would have to weight 6,900 lbs minimum no frills no interior, stereo, etc..

SOUNDS LIKE i'M A LITTLE SHY, 3600CAT AND SEAN H. EDUCATED ME TODAY, i GUESS WITH TRANNIES, HEADERS STRAINERS, RIGGING ETC, 4500# IS PROBABLY PRETTY CLOSE. BOAT SHOULD BE AROUND 6600-7,000, LBS WITH SPEEDMASTER'S AND BIG CUBE MOTORS, STILL EXCITED TO SEE AT LEAST 1 OF THE 32'S IF DOUG CAN GET THE BUSTLE AND GAS TANKS DONE, ANYWAY HOPE TO SEE YOU GUYS AT LOTO.
