Trying to clean bottom of boat, will this work or is it stupid?

Ive got a little calcium buildup on the bottom of the boat. I was thinking about putting a A-frame at the back of the boat, hooking up to the 2 eyes at the back, lifting it up and pulling the trailer forward. I only need to do the back 8 feet or so, then when done, back it up and set it back down.
Will it work, or dumba$$ darwin award idea?

If you can, do it under a huge tree branch if you can. That way, you can add a safety line to the lifting rings as well......That way if you pull too far forward, or the A frame shifts, you can have a leash on it that will keep the boat off the ground and your head. Sounds like you may not have a tree like that, or you could just jack up the transom, and secure it to the tree with the lifting rings, and you wouldnt need the a frame.

get boat stands and put them under the boat and then pull the trailer out.. you have to move the forward one as the cross members of the trailer hit it.. use a second one and then drop the one that the trailer is hitting.. repet step two until tailer is out...
