C'mon guys, After all the braggin Reggie has been doing with the poker run video and all, and you think he came to the last race with motors set on anything BUT ludicrous speed?
You know he had his best bullets loaded and took aim at Bud Select. The smoke clears and out come Dave and JT, in front.

And the worst part is this won't end till someone ends up dead because there ego drove them to push a boat way beyond it's limits. How stupid, just shut up and boat.

No, Reggie would pony up the membership fee to help this site. I think Reggie is an azz, but at least he's not a cheap azz

I don't buy this.
Does he have some very significant accomplishments under his belt? Yes.
Do I think he's still an arrogant azz? Yes.

One has little to do with the other, IMO. There are plenty of people who do great things, and do them without being a putz.

Since when has the "FIRST CORNER" in a race ever meant a darned thing anyways? I always understood the checkered flag to descide who won and who lost.

I saw the Skater-Cigarette headed north on I-75 in Georgia on July 5th. Wonder what they are going?

Well, Leon Derreberry has a 240+mph Skater in the works as well.
And, I have a 380 mph Bayliner bowrider in the works also.

Until it happens, it is all hear-say.

The hard facts as of today..
Fountain went 177
Bud went 202

-both w/ 1550's...

Um, lets see... If I subtract 177 from 202, i get, um................thinking still..........................25 mph.....
Thats still quite a ways to go in a boat....

It's a proven fact.. Cats are faster than Vees
I agree but what other V bottom manufacture put's in the Racing and R&D like Fountain does?Fountain has gotten a lot of milegae and press out of this. Regardless, Fountain the boat company and Reggie have done more for boat racing and thus inproving pleasure hulls than anyone else..EVER!

Why was it okay for OL to do a PR stunt (gps in the middle of the ocean) and get away with it as a hero, and yet its not okay for Reggie to say he beat Speed Racer?

Both actions, by both companies had little if any inpact on sales. OL is sold out for ever, and Fountain sells a ton of boats. I don't think anyone buys a Fountain because of what Reggie does or doesn't do.
Great point...but don't tell the stock holders this...if they stop Reggie from racing, testing, and making video's just think how boring and quiet it will be around here!

i hope nobody tells the stock holders (especially the ones that owned shares in 97) that the stock has gone from nearly 15 bucks to 4 dollars and change in the last 10 years of him racing and doing what he does...
