What a beautiful morning in sunny Southern California for an offshore ski race. Air temp was a balmy 72 degrees by 8 AM with little fog and wind. The ocean cooperated with small leftover wind swell. Could have been a record setting day for the courageous thugs that want to hang on to a thin rope behind a powerful offshore performance boat across the Catalina channel and back. My watch had the 1st guys back in under an hour.

Any chance you can email those pics to me? Thx. By the way, someone told me my old Larry Smith Scarab was in the race, did you happen to see it? You know it pretty well.

Do you have any photo's of Tony Adams? I heard he led most of the way until his skier gave out.

Thanks.. Brings back mammeries of 10 years when I lived in Woodland Hills..

Do they still have the races in Long Beach??
