Congrats to Saber!!!

Congratulations to all the owners of the 41 Sabers! They made an unbelievable showing at this years SOTW! Especially on the 2nd run of the day when the waters really picked up. Can't wait to see the video of all 4 running next to each other getting big air and running strong! Last ones to leave, 1st ones in. Pretty impressive! Got me sold, time to build my 34 Saber.

Parn, Mike, Jerry and Mark, awesome job guys!!

what are the specs on the sabres, hp, beam, stepped or straight v, are they just really good in rough water, how do they compare with the Apaches?

The first four built are as follows;
Twin Staggered 1075 Mercs and 6's
Twin Staggered 1200 Sterlings and 6's
Twin Staggered 950 Chiefs and 6's
Triple 900 Chiefs and 5's
All straight bottom boats with 8' beams.
The sotw video will give a pretty good indication on how they handle rough water as would the 22 people that rode with us.
Apache? Ask Nykamp, he has one of the best Apache's ever made, Allez Vite, cause he rode in the 1075 boat. I believe he will tell you they ride comparable. :D
The web site will be getting a significant update over the next sixty days.
Look for a bunch of changes at Saber soon. NK

Congrats guys! It sounds like you guys finally got some big water on SOTW. I'll have to get a ride in one of those bad boys later in the Summer! :drink:

Yep they did awesome at Smoke, and yes they ride just like an APACHE. I look forward to the up coming years from my Boys at SABER. I am going to be running next to 2 of the 4 this weekend at Boyne. Next year hopefully all 4 will be up there for the run, playing with me and Kemosabe and hopfully WARHWK.

Maybe a 47 Saber too, huh?

Warhawk? I recall, even though you don't, that you renamed Warhawk Mr 99.9 at Kirby Saturday night. :drink: Krysta's contribution was as follows, " Steps, we don't need no stinkin steps" Fun partying with the Nykamps. NK

Hey Parn, if you are involved in anything, it will be done right. Or do I mean over-done. :drink:
