Maybe he had a buyer for a boat like yours, not your particular boat. That happens in real estate all the time and a good broker will match a buyer to boats he sees are available.

Anyone looking for a Cigarette Tiger knows all the one's for sale simply because there aren't that many available and aren't that many options for places to look... IMO
