Same thing happened to a girl at the lunch stop at the Sarasota poker run.
They were parked next to us. While she was in the water she said something bit her on the foot. It was a prop.

I had a friend about 5 years ago do the same thing 13 staples in his foot however his was serated since he had run agrond a day before, it was his own prop/boat he was so pissed at himself. I am always telling everyone to watch the prop, also why I won't lab finish my prop, extra 1-2mph is not worth it to me.

Best recovery to your son., hard lesson to learn

The prop covers are a great idea. For a twin you need three of them. Two on the props and one on the steering wheel (a reminder) so you dont forget the ones on the props

The canvas ones that teague sells right? Thats a good idea, worse thing that would happen if you forgot them is they would spin off and you would lose a couple of bucks.

That happened a few years ago when a girl cut her foot on HavasuCig's outboard cleavers on his DCB. Put a nice gash in her foot, but luckily didn't cut any tendons or anything.

my boy ,Tyler, read the posts here and said thanks to dave 1 27fountain itlldo sanddrew strip and clay and to tell everyone he'll be OK, Wild thanks for the link. Proman and I were talking about covers last night. Another thing is a first aid kit, Proman had one and had everything in it to get Tylers foot all wraped up to take him to the hospital. I will never boat again without one. The surgeon looked his foot over today and scheduled the actual surgery for friday morning. has 7 temporary stitches until friday.

Ask G-Force about his run in with a prop! The cut was just about the length of his shin!

i cut my foot/leg on my prop 3 seperate times yesterday. Luckily only minor scrapes, but all 3 drew blood! this is from a stock rev 4, no lab finishing.
