Actually Ive heard the water was a bit green/warm.. how are the shallows, sandbars etc .. is it somewhat clear or ?

Th.e surface water temp is 90 degrees this time of the year. No sandbars in this lake. But that is a good thing. This is a deep lake and you can run just about anywhere. Civiized waterways are all marked if any underwater obstructions. The lake has been pretty clean this year.
