Sooooooooo, SKATER reccomends spinning the props inward, AND T2X reccomends outward...hmmmmmmmm?
|
My question is are they recommending inward rotation for speed or safety? My friends 36 Skater came with inward rotation also. I would imagine most of the time it would be fine. Just seems like the one time it would not be fine might not be a real pleasant experience. I am strickly a V-bottom driver personally, but it can happen to them too.

depends on where the drives are located. They put notches in v bottoms to allow higher drive location but maintain smooth flow to the props. I'd stand behind the boat with the drives neutral and look ahead for the apparent flow to the blades.

Have you played with V hull HP vs boat length, vented [step]vs non vented, left or right hand props and their effect? if so could I twist your ear? |
Sorry Clackster, not qualified to help. I would think that the many Velocity owners vs. the "rest of the v's" would be very able to help with your questions. It, in my mind, would make a good new topic.
