i was thinking of taking a trip up there this year. where do you recommend i go? ramps, lodging, camping whatever?

nice baot not to pricey either. Although 350 hours on 800hp engine is quite a bit. I'll take her though.

euby, there are several ramps. I'm not sure about camping. I think there is a campground south of Michigan City, they also have a nice ramp. Portage and Hammond are also good ramps.

as I'm thinking about it there is a nice campground between Portage and Michigan City, but you can't anchor your boat there. You would have to leave it at the marina (slip or on your trailer).
