Center Console or Go Fast?
 

Vote as to what style of boat you would rather have. Both are performance style 38' boats with one being a triple outboard and the other a go fast style with twin I/O's.

At that length, its gotta be a go-fast, but if this was for less than 25', I would have to choose both! :drink:

tony what would I be kidding about? Seriously what would you purchase if you were going to buy a new boat in the 38 foot range?
A very sleek, racey and sporty 38 foot center console with triples or a 38 go fast style boat?

What do you all think the pro's and con's of each boat are?

I can tell you the go fast will be faster but I also can tell you the center console is easier to maintane for every weekend style of boating. Plus you can have more friends on board and the boat is easy to beach and get on and off. Also with the CC you can dive, fish, cruise and party plus the CC is easy to insure and gets better gas mileage....so what would you all rather have?

After riding in your Fountain 38 CC W/trips , I'm a 4 stroke fan. Those Verados are super quite!

No the 38 CC could have quads....not limiting...but most 38's have trips that's all...if quads on a 38 CC would make you buy it then tell us.

It's more of a lifestyle question/poll and not really a direct performance poll.

Is this someway of convincing yourself that it is okay to buy the go-fast style boat? :D You know what the poll is going to say. You know what you need. :evilb: You already have the wife's blessing. Just go ahead and do it so I have someone else to run with.
On another note the guy that has the 35 Donzi with triple 225s just ordered a 2007 Fountain 38 LX with triple 275 rados on it. So another Fountain is coming to the development.
Maybe this weekend you can take those pictures if you are going to be around? Thanks Mike

I was just thinking that a 38 with quad 300 optis would be bad ass. Maybe hit 88 mph?
