Default Best city or town to fly into???

I have never been to Missouri, what would be the best city or town to fly into to get to the Tan Tara Resort at LOTO for the Shoot Out and should I rent a car or use a local shuttle? A friend booked the Tan Tara, is that a nice place to stay and is it close to any of the events? Thanks.

I would be flying commercial. Trying to find the best rates from the Boston area now. How far is the Tan Tara from Shooters?

By water, Tan Tar A is about 5 minutes from Shooters. By car it is about 10 - 15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to head that way early as the place fills up quickly.

Tan Tar A is a pretty nice place. It's a bit dated, but fairly well kept up. Last year my wife did the spa treatment. She said the spa was in what looked like a converted office building on the grounds. I'd stay there again.
