I am going to have one in a couple weeks, it is what I have used for two years and been happy with, but bigger boat will require a different set up.

Call me if interested..... it is a floatair..... 10,000#, may be more than you need, but I have been told again and again buy them 20% larger than needed.... this works very well with a #7500 boat with full load of fuel, people, gear, all that stuff...

Dean, Thanks for the reply. I am however going to need a stand alone vertical hoist like a Midlander or Shorestation lift.

Playn check out Craigs list. I just got one on there locally. Ebay of course has a lot of them. Thay all seem to be in the midwest so maybe close enough for you to go to.

Playn, check w/ Ron at Manning Marine. He builds lifts. Might be worth a couple extra bucks to go new. At least it doesn't hurt to check.

If you want, call me...I will give you the serial#, you can call alumivator and see about an upgrade. Sometimes you just need bigger cables. FYI ..I just bought and installed a 16000 Hi Tide lift, REAL nice ...cost of LIFT=$11,000

I too am looking for a lift for a little canal cruiser, # 2000-2200 lbs, 15' boat. Does anyone have any experience with one of those Jet dock types of drive on lifts?
Thanks,
Dean
