I have seriously spent the better part of the last couple weeks trying to figure out a way to get people to pull their head out of their azzes and boat smart. So far the list is kind of short, but I'm not giving up yet. I'd love to go to the speed limit hearings and be able to put up a smart and reasonable set of suggestions as to why speed (and noise) isn't the issue but boater Ed. is. Not one incident of the many in the last couple weeks I witnessed or was involved in, had a performance boat as the culprit.
Not sure if you went to the hearings last year.. the need for education was stressed again and again by the opponents of the bill, nonetheless the reps pushed it through .. At least the Senators were listening. And by the way, all that was heard from the proponents was rhetorical, anecdotal, nonsense.. speed the cause of larger wakes etc ... Some people will do or say anything to further there agenda ..it made me nauseous

Heard they just had two separate drownings and not related to boating. Maybe they'll want to ban swimming next

I was taking my shivering 5 year old out of the water when you came by. I had just come back from Moultonboro, nice ride. Too bad I just missed you.

Always hear you go by though. No mistaking those OB's.

We did 90 on Sunday, still tweaking.

Salt water this Saturday and we'll do it all over again. Then it's off to the shop to dump the bad oil and gear lube and refresh.

Should be back up to the lake on the 18th.

I do my own with a mechanic friend of mine in Fairhaven, MA. Pete Nopper, Nopper Marine. Great guy and knowledgible beyond belief.

He races a 26 Sutphen in P5 class with OPA.
