I'm new to the game. I would like to know how poker runs work? Where do they go What do they cost? Do you have to have a fast boat? Can anybody do it? How do you find out about them? I heard alot about them when I was in Key West as a crew member on blue lighting marines boat in november of last year. thanks   :D

Basically its usually a big circle (about 70 miles) with 5 stops along the way. At each stop you get a card in a sealed envolope. At the end everyone opens the envolopes and the highest hand wins. It has nothing to do with speed. Just a run for fun with a destination and a prize.
Get involved, they are fun to attend. |
Yep, and its NEVER a race.....
