Post poker run

I'm new to the game. I would like to know how poker runs work? Where do they go What do they cost? Do you have to have a fast boat? Can anybody do it? How do you find out about them? I heard alot about them when I was in Key West as a crew member on blue lighting marines boat in november of last year. thanks

www.pokerrunsamerica.com has a lot of information. There are all kinds of Poker Runs out there...some you can do with Pontoons. What kind of boat do you have?

Basically its usually a big circle (about 70 miles) with 5 stops along the way. At each stop you get a card in a sealed envolope. At the end everyone opens the envolopes and the highest hand wins. It has nothing to do with speed. Just a run for fun with a destination and a prize.

Get involved, they are fun to attend.

Brokenparts I love the name. Twin29 .. never a race. The best thing of all about a poker run is the after party

Hey Mr. Parts, They are Great!!!!!! You'll get to see all the latest and greatest items associated with boating! [boats, motors, paint schemes, thong bikkkkkins, great food, partys} You'll also make friendships that will last you a life time!!!
another web-site you could check out, is www.midamericanboating.com!! Roger and the guys do it up right!!! their lake cumberland run, is one of the biggest and best in the U.S. They also do our Ky.Lake poker run!! its the last weekend in june!!!! You asked about cost, that varies, usually around 295.00 to 395.00 That ,most of the time, includes driver,co-driver, all meals, admission to the nightly parties! plus a chance at winning the poker hand!!!! A good hand makes it a FREE weekend!!!!!!!
