Default GPS location on a Formula???

Who has pic/ suggestions for a Garmin 182 with the internal antenna on the dash of a Formula Fastech. My previous 312 (which is for sale BTW) had the bracket mounted on top of the dash beside the compass. I really didn't like it there but with a dash full of gauges (custom install) I don't seem to have room anywhere else.

With all the extra gauges it's a tough call, that is why the original owner put it in that weird location. BTW,I ordered the replacement white vinyl panel to cover the hole today.

T500, when I had my 382, I used a RAM mount clamped to the grab rail in front of the passenger(in front of the glove box). Used a Marinco plug end and put it in the socket below the glove box. U can turn it toward U at the helm or let your Mate do the navigating as I did. That way I did not have to drill holes anywhere! I had the 182 w/ internal also!! Good luck. Tracy

I removed depth, speedo and volts relocated to lower right of wheel under switch panel. Tossed the speedo and install a 172 C was the biggest that would fit.I'll get you a picture later.
