Looks like Trimax surface drives with supporting struts removed or not mounted yet. In any case, Tommy Bahama had Trimax.
I'm guessing the engines are based on the 6.2-liter block. Twin turbo, intercooler, 5000RPM, 1000hp and therefore probably huge boost pressure... I would dearly love to see this work but I don't quite see how it could. Or at least not with reliability and economy that one would normally expect from diesel engines.
Anyhow, it's nice to see people trying new things and fingers crossed.
