You think? That thing can't way THAT much more than a straight bottomed Tiger. Tiger with 900's and 6's runs low 90's.

he has twin 1000 carolinas, and it cruises at 75 very comfortably. He has some great pics of it in the apache forum. From what I was told was the 45 was a 47 with last 2 feet blocked off. His boat is gorgeous.

Ok then, a 75mph cruise speed with 1000hp per side and 6's.
So I would think he has a 80mph plus top speed.
And yes Hot Duck has a fine looking powerboat!

exactly... The one in the add, I searched some old threads, I think was tbonepmps boat. If I remeber correctly sitting on the trailer ready to launch was in the vicinity of 22K lbs,boat alone was in the 18K so its a big heavy, heavy boat.it would take big twins to get it moving.

Thanks for the input everyone, i am not in the market for something like the Apache yet, i would love to have it on LOTO just because of the heads it would turn, i am a fan of the oldschool apaches, cigs, scarab kv's etc.....it seems to me the old apaches need big big power to push them along......but i still love em!

Close up the center hole and put a pair of turbines in it. Plenty of room for any kind of trannies so the docking would be ok.
