a 28 skater with a good driver will not be beaten in 2-3 foot water. I have heard from other spectre owners they can beat the 28 in ruff stuff but have never seen it, just got the excuses. I dont know to much about amt but raced one at loto in 2- 3 footers and he could only go 100 or so, looked good but he couldnt keep up. some of it I am sure is the driver, but it is hard to beat another boat when it has 15 mph or so on you no matter what you are racing.

Whats up Jim, no news on that video. I guess they never made one. I did talk to them in July, they are having another radar run in October. I am not going to loto, although its on my list of things to do. I can not compete with you or the other 28's with more HP than me, I would like to watch though. I am planning on Key West this year though.

I have been in a 30 Spectre, and they are very nice running boats no doubt. They are definately bigger than a 28 Skater. I just have yet to see conditions where I could not outrun him. He has 300x's and I have 300 promax's. I would agree the ride in the 30 spectre seems more comfortable in rough water, but not faster that I have been able to tell.

Never been for a ride in an AMT yet, although I think they are really nice boats too.
