The orginal OSO Charter members got them (I think we paid $20-25 for 2 stickers), way back in 2000, when Jeffery C. was just getting OSO off the ground. Mine are somewhere in my wife's office! :eek:

yeah baby, CHARTER MEMBERS got them for a 25.00 donation back in 2000. Best money I ever spent :D

If I recall it was for the first 200 people that made the $25 donation back then. When they did, they became "charter members" It represents a thank you as they are the ones that helped out when this site was just starting by contributed financially to it.

I saw one of those on a white Truck (I think a chevy)( I think it was on the side window of the Extended Cab) last summer here in the Cinci/ N. Kentucky area.
I wanted to stop and say HI - but was already running late.

Probably not. Been invited to hang with Bills crowd but Ive got two races in Maryland and I think LC is the same weekend as one of them :(

Still havn't decided where to put them, I've taken better care of my stickers than my boat. Charter members appear in red, at the time I thought a little expensive for stickers, boy was I wrong, Member #46

You CAN'T get them now - you had to be here then. That's the whole point behind Charter Member status. I proudly display mine on both of my boats.

I see no problem with OSO making a different version available now that had the member's name and "Johnny-come-lately Member" or something like that on them....... :p

Not the stickers. You know how hard it was to peel that one off my truck when I traded it off? But I have toyed around auctioning off my OSO password. Surely somebody would be interested in reimbursing me of my initial $25 investment in order to veiw everything on the board, place ads, be the world known US1 Fountain and never have to spend anothor penny, ever! :evilb:
