Is it finished? Does it exsist? Will it be at the 1000 islands run this weekend?

They had a line drawing at the Miami show this year and Hideaway Marina has one listed on order with 1075's. Sounds like the boat is still in the final building stages but it is a ways off before one hits the water.

Its about time someone besides Nortech started building high end cats and v hulls can't wait to see it. Now all we need is an MTI V and a Fountain cat!

umm.. Skater has a V. Fountain tried building cats with Scism, but they split. Mystic/Callan has a 50 cat, 62V and 70V (cant get more high end then them either)

That is why Dee and Sharkey are able to get the pics when they are ready. If Mike wanted there to be pics on OSO Im sure they would be here. :drink:

Hey, for once in my life I felt intimidated. I was just in awe when at the shop. I felt like I was in Top Secret headquarters :p !This girl will keep the secret when it's OL! The cat is a big girl. Estimation of completion, was not given. Other customer boats are taking presidence.

(Oh yeah, FYI - I travel with 2 cameras :p )

Yes they are. The boat is beautiful. Sleak sexy lines. The shading and blending TOAD did with the paint is great. All I'll say is look for the the red OL with a cat style stern.

It's real hard for me not to take pics and to keep quite. But I wanna be welcomed at OL if I go back up there. I've been running into Mike alot these days, I like getting a kiss and hug hello from him! :p Not gonna ruin a good thing!

Can't wait to see the pics. If Mike's Cat performs anywhere near the way his V's perform, there ain't no way Reggie is going to beat Mike this time. It's about time a super cat really runs against Reggies V. Where were all the "real" cats hanging out when Reggie's V put them down? No way can a V ever beat a Cat...If it isn't a Cat it's a Dog...

The OL Cat is unbelievable. There are a few things left for completion, but the are staring at the light at the end of the tunnel (no pun intended)

All that I can say is, it will be deffinately worth the wait. But I have a feeling that the new creation they are bringing to 1000 islands will keep your interest for quite a while.

Yes,
It is all true....
The boat was ready for paint when I was there last week.
Out of coutesy for the other projects OL has in the works, I left my camera in the truck as well.
No doubt, if they wanted a media blitz of photos, they know who they can count on! :drink:

For now I wouldn't be too concerned about the cat.

Just wait till you see what he has in the line of some new Vees! :eek: :eek: :eek:

As I walked through the shop I felt like I just walked into the future. Afterall, that is what it is. The future looks of the newest powerboats.

Trust me, none of you will be dissappointed! :drink:

um, its already been advertised for sale. Should be awesome. There was also a fountain race boat with a rudder in the late 90's.

It does look differnt, reason it has taken so long is that Mike has made several changes that although seemed minute at the time, make the boat look that much better as a finished product.

Keep your eye's peeled for this monster, it'll be worth the wait.

John Cosker, the ower of also does design work for Donzi, Midnight express, Deep Impact, and some other really neat projects that are under wraps right now! :D
