Here's a few shots on Lake Michigan along southwestern Michigan's sandy shoreline with the HUGE sand dunes and endless ripples in the sandy bottom as you look over the side of your boat.

1) You can actually get in the water w/ out going into hypothermia.
2) The air temperature is MUCH better.
3) it's got a MUCH better crowd of people - less hillbillies and toothless people.
4) there's actually room on the lake to run the boats.
5) MULTIPLE places to go, on the water, at night: Carlos n' Charlies, Johnny Fins, Shades, Cafe Bleu, Lakeway, etc....
******* Besides, Texas has MUCH hotter women!!!! That's where I found mine!
(Texas, that is.... not Devil's Cove!
)P.S. S. Florida is still my favorite --- you have places to "really" run your boat like it was built to do, and then tie up at cool spots! ---- and you can do it year'round.

The 1st shot is of Torch Lake's famous "sand bar" in the far distance.
The 2nd shot is of Indian River
And the 3rd shot is from Marion/Power Island in Grand Traverse Bay...
By the way, the pictures look much better if you click on them to englarge

Nobody from Ohio is going to represent "The Flats"???
They must all be on the water, not the computer.
Monarch Bay off Laguna beach in CA any weekend in the summer. pull up next to any of the 25+ multi million dollar Yachts and start trading rides with the trust fund daughters (In my single days).
Tank, whens your next trip to the zoo?

Here is another pic of the sand bar at Torch lake. It is one of the most beatiful bodies of water in the world. Northern Michigan is boaters and snowmobiliers paradise. I hope to move the fam up their in the near future.
