Is there a list somewhere with all the classes and speeds. And a list of the record speed in each class. What class does a 32' deep v with 496 Mag HO's run in. Does anyone know what hull was fastest in this class and the speed it ran?

Thanks Kirk

chit, with my old boat, I could have been a contender in the stock big block class! (72mph best speed).

Gordo-do you know what the numbers and classes are for the 26' cats?

Rapid22 01-21-2002 01:26 AM

Maybe I'll make a trip down with my little 22' cat for the Shootout. If you guys think I could run it. Sounds like a lot of fun. Did any 22' cats run last year? I guess I'd be in the blown class. It's a 454 with a whipple charger. Thanks for the info guys.

OK, so since according to every none Fountain owner, my 27 is a 26 or 25. Can I run in the 22-26' :D :D :D Oh never mind I don't want to get spanked by Jim V.

Hey Cord according to the add you would have kicked arse!!! It says honest 76 with a 330 so you must have been going 89 or so right

That guy is a JERK OFF. He is getting a letter from me the lieing piece of chit!!!

Bruce 01-21-2002 10:17 AM

Cord, the 26 cat's are usually around 104-108. Last year an eliminator made on run of 120 something and said he had more left. Judging from the engine I'd believe him. :D

Cord 01-21-2002 11:52 AM

Bruce-That wasn't a Dudly motor was it?

Audio-I hear you man.

Bruce 01-21-2002 12:00 PM

Cord, it wasn't a DUD motor, but it was very nice. I suspect the engine is enough to delaminate the bottom pretty quick. ;)

Cord 01-21-2002 01:21 PM

Say, I didn't realize you offered two different levels of engines. How much more are the Dudly's than the Dud's? I'd sure hate to end up with a dud of an engine! ;) :)

Thanks Too Old, just what I was looking for.

Does anyone know what type of hull won-

V2S2- deep V 27-31' twin stock power
( Bob Michael won this class @ 76 MPH )

V3S2- deep V 31-35' twin stock power
( Don Ahnger won this class @ 82 MPH )

One last question would a 32' Sunsation be
in V2 or V3 it's 32' long but the actual
actual running surface is just over 30'

It looks like a lot of fun, congratulations
to all the winners.

Thanks Kirk
