Who's Has The Fastest Natural Boat
#12
The B in BRTstands for Bluewater. As in Bluewater Racing Team. The boats were built in New Bedford, MA. BRT made 24ft boats with outboards on bracket(s), I/O and Arneson. There was also a 27ft model which was similar to the 27ft Signature.
The manufacture name on the title of my BRT is High Performance. In the 1990's the boats were marketed and sold by the builder of Signature Boats under the High Performance name.

Nice boat Paul, see you on South River once in a while-certainly sounds healthy
And it looks fast just idling along

Ted,
Yes.. Harness Creek on the South River is home port for the BRT. Dave Govatos from MDG Performance Marine built the motor and has performed all the rigging and maintenance on the boat since 1989.
Were you one of the guys rafted up with the Cigarette and center console from Virginia?
Paul

Yeah, I had the 31 Formula and Old School has the 38 Gun. We were just trying to soak up just a little more summer
and a few beers
Dave does some great work, the engines he built for Matt Holloway are the freekin bomb! Luckily I don't need his services at this point (knock on wood)
