I always try and be careful when I start my boat up in crowded area's, that is one of my worst fears. I remember when I saw this girl trying to help her boyfriend/husband come up to a dock, she was on the deck and the boat was approaching the dock, so she stuck out her feet to stop the boat from hitting the dock. I don't think a 125 lb. girl is going to stop a 6000-7000 lb. boat with their feet. Funny when I told her to get your feet out of the way, she looked at me like "mind your own business buddy"

Sorry to hear she was a friend. I heard about this and I also heard there was a lot of drinking involved . So sad. You have to be SO careful - watch yourself AND the people around you!!
