Default Seahawks Boats from the 80s

Hello,

Does anyone know what ever happened to any of the Seahawk boats both the 28 and 32 I think? I know they were selling boats for a while in the 80s.

The last I had heard some one in Ohio had the molds but that was many years ago, some time in the mid 80s.

They seem to be a good rough water boat.

Thank you

Jim

I had a mid 80s 27' seahawk, it was a 3 man race config that had been confiscated by the DEA and the guy I bought it from had started to convert it to a standard cockpit. I was a great boat my nephew still rows with me for selling it, says it was the best boat I ever owned.

The molds were in Miami in the late 90s, I met up with the guy who owned them, he was looking to make sport fishers out of them.

Hello CayFomula,

Thanks,, sounds like the molds got a round some
the last I had heard in the 80s they were in Ohio and some one was trying to sell boats both the 28 and 31 footers . The guy in Ohio, had the deck molds along with the racing dash insert.
they his company just disappeared one day.
I may still have some old paper work from him put away in a box.
Thank you

Jim

Sal Magluta the Owner is in jail for drug running / smuggling I do believe. I just sold my 1983 31' Seahawk I had it for 4 years. The boat ran good it just needed more bow lift. Here are some photos.

Hello SeaHawk,
Nice looking boat and on the west coast also.
Alot of the older Sport boats never made it out west.
Nice to see you had one out here.
Yes, I heard about Sal Magluta and Willy Falcon being in jail
I think they ran KS&W Engines in the racew boats and always had the guy from KS&W start the engines at the races
Thank you
Be nice to find who ever had the molds, and have one built.
