I got an e-mail from Fountain today and it said that the "cat killer" is getting re-rigged to go 200 mph. He said I won't likely see it at the Shootout because it won't be finished.

You can make all the jokes you want, when they get it working it will set new records. The motors were never mint for boat racing so they have to be rework from the ground up. If you were in Washington at the Fountain race and saw how the boat accelerated and the speeds on the short straits you may change your mind. Bill Mazzoni ( BTM Marine #12 )

He is just looking for better motors for his Express Cruisers and maybe the 47 lighting using gas motors. They already used the Yanmars. Just my best guess
