Hmmmm. We may have to take you up on that. Last year the E Dock crew ended up @ Dog Days Thursday evening. I'll see what they want to do. I need to start my four day drunk that night for sure.

It would help the out of towners if you could post an address or map so we have an idea of where we will be lost :drink:
We plan on getting in Wednesday late afternoon and getting the boat in the water Thursday morning.

For you out-of towners I believe its the third cove on the left past the community bridge as your heading to the south. Look for a white house with a blue tile roof on the left side of the entry to the cove.

Correct me if I'm wrong someone.............

BWJ's is at the 17mm. Its about half way between the Community Toll Bridge and the Grand Glaize Bridge. It would be on the East side of the lake and is way back in the cove. The front of the cove is marked with NO WAKE Bouys and signs.

I won't be down till Friday afternoon.

How far is that in relation to the Tan-Tar-a?(by boat) & Is there a launch ramp @ the Tan-Tar-A? - are these establishments well marked or do we need a local to follow? We will be looking for a watering hole Thurs. Afternoon. :drink:

TanTarA is at the 26, Backwaters is at the 18. So not too far.
Put your boat in at PB2 and leave your trailer there. Almost anywhere else is a pain. Either the ramp is steep and narrow, or the roads are too twisty to tow anything over 30 ft.
Get a lake map or search for one on the web. Some maps have the local establishments marked.

Ran-Dom,

Just as rdoactive says, almost all the bars and marinas have a map of the lake with places to frequent for adult beverages. I am riding with a buddy in a 32 Velocity this trip as I sold my boat, and we are staying at Tan-Tar-A as well. Look for the black/white/red Velocity. We'll hook up for drinks.

Another friend will be in a 29 Fountain. (Pink graphis - just for you Dave!)
