Default anyone know this Fountain 35 Executioner?

i'm in the market for a Fountain and i think a used one is my way.. i currently own a 06 outlaw Baja 23 with a 496.. it's a nice boat, but i need a larger ride for the ocean seas that i ride in. the wife really wants a Executioner due to the larger head area and more head room (i think)..
*first, whats a top speed for a 496HO Executioner??
* anyone know this 2002 Executioner down in FL? trying to find out some history about her..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-...mZ330018720040

thanks everyone,
Mike

test ride one in rough water, then test ride a cigarette in the same ruff water, then decide what you want to ride the ocean water in

i'm new to the LA sceen and haven't met anyone cool that would take me for a ride... I'm trying to stay within the 100K to 110K and the 32 to 35ft mark.. i really don't want a boat that i have to always tune and work on, i'm just looking for a nice turn key ride... whats everyone's input?

Please take a look at the new and used Fountains we have. I would also be more than happy to answer all your questions regardng Fountains and how they perform.

I told you a Cig is the way to go. Like this one:

or this..

Have you checked out the bathroom on a Cig for the wife? It might work, and it will defintiely cut through the chop in socal. Bug user thisistank, he boats out of Channel Islands like me, ask him if he would be willing to give you a ride in his TG.

I owned a 2004 35 X with 496ho's and now own a 2001 Playboy with 500's........ The difference in the two are, the Fountain ran 78, 80 if you lossened it up to the uncomfortable stage. The Cig runs 83 like a Rock. The Fountain was very nimble, the Cig is a little less sporty feeling. If you boat in any kind of Rough conditions the Cig is the boat. If your on a lake that doesn't get to snotty, the Fountian will be fun. As far as Quality of the boat and rigging, well, lets just say, it's a Cigarette........This is just an opinion from a guy who owned both boats, back to back.......hope this helps

Something else I read last year in the fountain section is insurance on a 35 foot fountain can be triple what it is on a 38 with exact same engines so get a quote to be sure before pulling the trigger. Paying 1200$-1800$ is alot for a average guy but jumping up to 3500$ to 5000$ a year might be past reasonable for some of us,Smitty

Know the boat well - the guy lives in St. Pete and is pretty active in OPBA. Extremely nice boat - well taken care of. I think he tops out around 78 - 80 +/-.
