Default look

I baught this boat in Port Lavaca, Texas, the person i baught it from, purchased it at an estate sale in florida it was the estate of DALE ERNHARDT, he baught the boat right before he died, he was going to put a nascar motor in it, the title says it was built by don aronow, and the guy i baught it from said it was built in italy, then ship to the united states, can someone tell me what kind of boat this is, it is a V-DRIVE, and is sposedly built in 79

dude stay away from the morons at the vdrive site. get the v drive rebuilt, install a big block chevrolet, you may have to do this project over time as it will be costly to finish the boat up, you could probably spend 15 to 30k plus depending on how much power you want and what engine exhaust etc you decide to go with, look at the classified adds here on oso, you get an idea of what engines, ehxaust, props etc cost. if you find its gonna be too expensive sell that boat and get something more complete and less costly to build, own and maintain. good luck, rm
