Got my new pipes!
Just got my new mufflers put on. The decrease the sound incredibly. There are some side effects. The motors stall and surge like crazy. I guess the carbs need to be adjusted to accommodate them with all the back pressure. My neighbors are going to be very happy. I hate the way they look. I think they look goofy as heck. If you happen to order some, be very careful on your measurements. I got these and they were 6" too long. When we turned the wheel, the drives would hit them very quickly. It cost me an additional $600 to have them cut down and welded 
. Pissed me off a little bit. If I would have sent them back, shipping would have been a couple of hundred $$ and I would have lost at least 3 more weeks so I had them cut locally.

You saw that?? I remind those guys constantly. They are pretty good about it. If I could only get them to wash thier hands before touching the suede on the seats i'd be in good shape.

Gino, your boat looks so great, I don't think that anyone will notice that the pipes are turned down. I've seen another type of turndown, and the pipes have a turn in them to go straight down to the water. I think I seen that at Sarasota poker run this March on O U want some's boat. Sounds goofy as heck tho. Sounds like a Sea Ray with a big cam and a stuck choke on the carb. 
I think Brad Zastro has turn downs on his cat too. When we're in the harbor, and he passes by out in the lake, you'd never tell that he has mufflers.
