A Sonic is a very forgiving hull, and lets you make a few mistakes that the boat will make up for. I know this first hand.

I appreciate all your guys advice/ concerns. I have never owned a boat myself, but I have spent a long time in boats ,more specifically in offshore type situations. I have been behind the wheel of many boats over the last 7 years, 19' up to 30' ....and in the Vancouver rough , it's plain to see that a longer hull will do you better. I also have close friends who are avid boaters, there to make sure that I don't screw my self up, It's just that high end street custom machines are my specialty....we are just expanding. I ask for your help because this would be my first boat, and I would like to get the best hull possible. This boat would serve several purposes....for showcasing our work, for cruising around and for poker runs. There is nothing impossible about any situation, we build impossible jobs all the time...But, I'm not affraid to ask for proffesional advice when it's not my fotray. I can go buy a high end boat, but we want to build one.
So thanks again and keep the advice coming
