I have an Atkins built rotary in my autocross RX7. Three years and 32k miles running consistantly at 9500 RPM, no problems ever, runs like a champ. Atkins can build a rotary that is reliable and turns over some serious power. Hope this helps....Donnie

- Hull - Kevlar 1850 bullet, Bravo 1 XR leg

- Engine – X-Treme Rotaries 1962cc 20B (3 rotor) rotary engine, bridge ported, turbocharged, fuel injected

- Horsepower – 800hp 9500rpm 615 ft/lbs torque

- Speed – max 142 mph 9650rpm

- Tuning – by Anthony Rodrigues, Maztech of Melbourne

- Turbo – Garret GT42 1000hp

It's been outlawed on the racing circuit because it was just kicking everybodies azz.

Pretty cool!

Next time pm me. I have been building rotary engines for over 25 years as a hobby. I had an older RX-7 that I reved to 10,000 rpm EVERYDAY and sold it years ago with 131,000 miles on the engine and it was running fine. I recently talked to the owner and it still runs perfect. There are quite a few shops but VERY few experts when it comes to rotaries.

I recently built a ceramic seal motor which is capable of 800/900 hp and it's a two rotor 13b not a three rotor like the boat.

615 ft/lbs is out of 120 cubic inches.

Here is a 13b (two rotor) dyno. Race engine running high boost...

Seen some in magazines. Mostly connected to jet pumps though.
