After a little seat time, I had it running a solid 96.0 on GPS @ 5800. (staggered 800's Konrad Ace drives) I'm sure the 100 mph mark is no problem with the right set of props and more experience behind the wheel.
The Velocity had no bad manners at all. No chine walk, no porpoising, just a sweet ride. Nice design, very impressed.

Yes, we ran but started a bit late. The Velocity crew did a real nice job putting it together. As I said above, no bad manners at all. Glad you liked it, they've been fantastic to work with.

Fountains aside...(I know guys, but they're cat killers for christ sake!
....I gotta go with WickedWon. 41 Saber Banshee with 1150 Sterlings.....113mph on flat as hell water (SOTW 2004). The damn thing WILL run 116 in a slight chop.
Straight up powerboat to the bone.

Wasn't Gentry's 3-engined 46 Scarab up there?
Update:
From Scarab's website-
1993 • World Kilo Speed Record 126.38 mph
— Richie Powers & Tom Gentry
— 43' Scarab
